The Sarita Giri-led faction of the Nepal Sadbhawana Party has joined the Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum-Nepal (SSF-N), in a show of support for the local level elections.

Giri, who had broken alliance with the party leader, Anil Jha, for joining Rastriya Janata Party Nepal, said on Friday the Madhes was eager to join the polls.

“I was in Madhes for last two months and the people are eager to vote for their local representatives,” Giri said at a press conference.

The unity became possible after a long discussion, groundworks and cooperation with SSF-N leader  Upendra Yadav.
