The Nepal Army (NA) marked 'Army Day' amid a special function at Tundikhel, Kathmandu on Monday.
Nepal Army's Supreme Commander Bidhya Devi Bhandari attended the function as the chief guest. Vice-president Nanda Bahadur Pun and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli were also present on the occasion.
The Nepal Army has been marking Mahashivaratri as the Army Day since 2047 BS. Various programmes including were demonstrated on the occasion.
