The Jayatu Sanskritam, Satmarga Aviyan and Jeeyar Educational Trust Nepal, Nepal Bikas Tarangini are playing leading role to make arrangement for publishing the text books for the school level, said chair at the JR Foundation and former secretary of the government of Nepal Baman Prasad Neupane.
The Rupak Memorial Kupondol, Bagmati Boarding School Sukedhara, DAV School Jawalakhel, Neighbourhood Secondary School Mandikhatar, GEMS School Dhapakhel, Little Angels School, Hattiban, Marvel English Boarding School Maitidevi, Apex College Baneshwor, Brihaspati Siksha Sadan Naxal, Apple International School Battisputali and Sakura Memorial Higher Secondary School, Nawalparasi are showing interest to teach Sanskrit from this session, said Trust vice-chair Kumar Adhikari.
Principal at the Rupak Memorial School Helen Sharma informed that they were planning to teach Sanskrit considering its importance as European and American Schools were attracted to Sanskrit education.
Sanskrit used to be taught up to lower secondary level in all the private and public schools before 2055 BS.
