As efforts to locate the military craft that disappeared on Tuesday failed, the United States has deployed an advanced fixed-wing aircraft for the search, said a highly-placed government source.
The aircraft arrived in Bangladesh on Thursday and will be conducting a search in the probable route in Dolakha district on Friday, without making a stopover at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
On Thursday, the missing chopper was also searched from the air through metal detector and reflector, both in river and some parts of the forest, but in vain.
The chopper was delivering aid to Dolakha, one of the districts hit hardest by both the quakes, on Tuesday when it lost contact.
