Basanti Ghimire, 16, of Gwalichaur VDC-8 in Baglung committed suicide by hanging herself at her house on Friday evening, said Bishnu Prasad Lamsal, Police in-charge of the Khar police post.
Ghimire appeared the SLC exam from Khar Secondary School, Gwalichaur. Likewise, Rakshya Shrestha, 15, of Rukumkot VDC-6 and Ganga Thapa, 15, of Khalanga VDC-8 in Rukum district hanged themselves to death as they failed the SLC examination.
Shrestha and Thapa had appeared the SLC examinations from at Rukmini Higher Secondary School, Rukumkot.
