Nepali Congress candidate Udaya Shumsher Rana has taken an early lead in Lalitpur constituency number 1.

In the preliminary count, Rana has secured 522 votes. CPN-UML candidate Chetanath Sanjel is in second place with 269 votes.

Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Buddharatna Maharjan has received 122 votes, while Nepali Communist Party candidate Sunil Maharjan has secured 23 votes.
