At least 14 injured in jeep accident in Dailekh

At least 14 people were injured in an accident involving a passenger jeep in Aathbis Municipality of Dailekh district on Monday.
According to the police, the jeep heading towards Narharinath Rural Municipality in Kalikot district from Surkhet veered off the road and fell some 50 metres near Dab in the municipality along the Karnali Highway.
Police informed that 14 passengers aboard the jeep have sustained injuries following the accident.
Three seriously injured passengers have been medevacked to Kathmandu-based National Trauma Centre, District Police Office, Dailekh informed.
Police said that the driver of the jeep lost control following a brake failure leading to the accident.
