Nepal reports 124 new Covid-19 cases

According to the Health Ministry, 10 individuals infected with the virus are being treated in intensive care units and four others are on ventilator support across the country. Nepal reports 124 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Monday reported 77 new PCR-confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 1,001,877.

Similarly, 47 people tested positive in a total of 1,663 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.

As of Monday, 6,024,251 PCR and 1,549,556 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.

A total of 903 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.

The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 12,020 since the pandemic began.

According to the ministry, 989,413 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 29 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 444.

On Monday, 10 individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another four were on ventilator support.

Nepal on Sunday had reported 50 new PCR-confirmed coronavirus cases.
