Nepal reports 179 new Covid-19 cases
According to the ministry, 984,584 infected people have recovered from the disease so far. The number of active cases stands at 2,271.Post Report
Nepal on Monday reported 127 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 998,870.
Similarly, 52 people tested positive in a total of 2,359 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Monday, 5,910,969 PCR and 1,383,735 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,600 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported one Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 12,015 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 984,584 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 171 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 2,271.
In the past 24 hours, 17 new infections were reported in Province 1, three in Madhesh Province, 82 in Bagmati, 13 in Gandaki, five in Lumbini, two in Karnali and five in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Sunday reported 89 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths. Similarly, 112 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Saturday and 110 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths were reported on Friday.
