Nepal reports 13 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Tuesday reported 12 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,960.
Similarly, one person tested positive in a total of 1,258 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Tuesday, 5,659,241 PCR and 1,179,386 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,376 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,823 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 17 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 185.
In the past 24 hours, six new infections were reported in Bagmati, two in Madhes; and one each in Province 1, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Monday reported eight new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 17 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Sunday and 14 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were confirmed on Saturday.
