Nepal reports 17 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 966,730 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 217.Post Report
Nepal on Thursday reported 15 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,899.
Similarly, two people tested positive in a total of 1,435 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Thursday, 5,648,397 PCR and 1,173,415 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,376 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,730 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 15 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 217.
In the past 24 hours, all 15 new infections were recorded in Bagmati Province.
Nepal on Wednesday reported 19 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly,29 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Tuesday and eight new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Monday.
