Nepal reports 32 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Tuesday reported 29 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,865.
Similarly, three people tested positive in a total of 1,590 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Tuesday, 5,643,648 PCR and 1,170,532 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,504 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,697 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 23 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 217.
In the past 24 hours, 26 new infections were recorded in Bagmati and one infection each was recorded in Province 1, Madhes and Gandaki.
Nepal on Monday reported eight new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 18 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Sunday and four new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Saturday.
