Nepal logs 25 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 965,394 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 1,081.Post Report
Nepal on Thursday reported 24 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,426.
Similarly, one person tested positive in a total of 1,328 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Thursday, 5,546,390 PCR and 1,126,913 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 3,623 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,951 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 965,394 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 89 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 1,081.
Kathmandu Valley recorded six–five in Kathmandu and one in Bhaktapur–new infections in the last 24 hours.
In the past 24 hours, one new infection was recorded in Province 1, eight in Madhesh, seven in Bagmati and two each in Gandaki and Lumbini and four in Sudurpaschim.
On Thursday, 14 individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another three– one in Province 1 and two in Bagmati– were on ventilator support.
Nepal on Wednesday reported 25 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 30 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Tuesday and 15 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported Monday.
