Nepal logs 45 new Covid-19 cases
According to the Health Ministry, 963,111 infected people have recovered from the disease so far and the number of active cases stands at 3,135.Post Report
Nepal on Monday reported 41 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 978,196.
Similarly, four people tested positive in a total of 1,774 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Monday, 5,508,824 PCR and 1,113,099 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,978 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,950 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 963,111 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 147 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 3,135.
Kathmandu Valley recorded 16 new infections in the past 24 hours. All 16 cases were confirmed in Kathmandu.
In the past 24 hours, three new infections were recorded in Province 1, 17 in Bagmati, four in Gandaki, 12 in Lumbini, two in Karnali and three in Sudurpaschim.
According to the data released by the ministry, four districts are home to more than 200 active cases each.
On Monday, 22 individuals infected with the virus were being treated in intensive care units across the country. Another five were on ventilator support in Bagmati province.
Nepal on Sunday reported 28 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, eight new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Saturday and 12 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Friday.
