Mohammad Aadil Alam top-scored for Kathmandu with a well-made 48, striking four fours and two sixes. Ben Charlesworth added 32, while Santosh Yadav contributed 26.
Gerhard Erasmus chipped in with 10, but the remaining batters failed to reach double figures as Biratnagar kept regular control over the innings.

Kathmandu will now look to defend the modest score against a Biratnagar batting line-up known for its aggressive approach.
