Chitwan Rhinos beat Karnali Yaks by four wickets

Chitwan Rhinos chased down a 167-run target with four wickets in hand and five balls to spare, defeating Karnali Yaks in the Nepal Premier League match at the TU International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur on Tuesday.
Chitwan reached 167–6 in 19.1 overs, taking revenge for their two defeats against Karnali last season.
Ravi Bopara top-scored with a composed 52 off 35 balls, striking three fours and three sixes.
Saif Zaib accelerated the chase with a 16-ball 38, hitting two fours and four sixes before falling leg-before wicket to Sompal Kami.
Opener Deepak Bohora made 42 off 36 balls, while skipper Kushal Malla added 20 from 15 deliveries. Dawid Malan (6) and Dev Khanal (2) departed cheaply.
For Karnali, captain Sompal Kami picked up two wickets, while Unish Singh Thakuri and Yubraj Khatri took one each.
Earlier, Karnali posted 166–3 after being sent to bat. Priyank Panchal smashed a scintillating 90 off 48 balls, hitting seven fours and six sixes before being caught by Dev Khanal off Bopara.
Pawan Sarraf contributed an unbeaten 27 from 16 balls with three sixes and a four, while Najibullah Zadran remained not out on four. Mark Watt scored 16 before being dismissed, and opener Max O’Dowd made two runs.
Sohail Tanvir, Saif Zaib and Ravi Bopara took one wicket apiece for Chitwan.
In the next match, Pokhara Avengers face Biratnagar Kings at 4pm.
