India’s Robin Singh has joined Lumbini Lions as their mentor for the Nepal Premier League’s second season.
Singh’s entry to the Lions’ den was made public on Thursday.
Singh, who is now in his early 60s, has represented the Indian national team across 136 ODIs since his debut, in 1989, to his retirement in 2001. He contributed 2,336 runs in the 50-over format for India.
Investing himself in the coaching roles after hanging up his gloves, Singh was part of Mumbai Indians’ five-time IPL winning campaigns in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020.
