Karnali Yaks have welcomed Nebico, a pioneer biscuit industry of Nepal, as their co-sponsor for the second season of the Nepal Premier League.

Karnali Yaks’ Director Grihendra Ghimire and Nebico’s Managing Director Ashok Pokhrel signed an agreement for the deal at a function in Kathmandu on Thursday.

Pokhrel said that Nebico was excited to join hands with Karnali Yaks and contribute to Nepali cricket, which has a bright future ahead. “We have expected this deal to aid our commercial journey as well,” he added.

Similarly, Ghimire, who shared joy in the partnership with Nebico, stressed that the club was looking forward to the second season. “Cricket is uniting Nepalis at a time when the country is going through a tough period,” Ghimire said, citing the Gen Z uprising. “We are thankful to the Cricket Association of Nepal for giving continuity to the NPL at such a difficult time, a move that will give positivity to the Nepali community.” (PR)
