The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Friday announced a 16-member squad for the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup to be held in Sri Lanka.

Karan KC, Sandeep Lamichhane, Dipendra Singh Airee and Gyanendra Malla have been replaced by Dev Khanal, Shyam Dhakal, Surya Tamang and Sandeep Jora. Lamichhane and Airee were not included in the team as they will be in Canada for Global T20.

Other team members include Rohit Paudel (captain), Asif Sheikh, Arjun Saud, Kushal Malla, Aarif Sheikh, Gulsan Jha, Sompal Kami, Bhim Sharki, Pratish G.C., Lalit Rajbanshi and Kishor Mahato.

The eight-team tournament is scheduled to be held from July 14-23.

Nepal will start their campaign taking on Pakistan A on July 14.
