Nepal set 311-run target for Oman

Nepal have set a 311-run target for Oman in the ongoing ACC Premier Cup being played at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Friday.
Winning the toss, Oman chose to field and were successful in taking the wickets of openers Kushal Bhurtel and Aashif Sheikh in the first four overs. Bhurtel was trapped leg-before by Bilal Khan in 2.2 overs while Sheikh was bowled out by Kaleemullah in 3.4 overs.
Bhim Sharki came in third and scored 33 runs off 56 balls before being stumped by Adeel Shafique. Skipper Rohit Poudel hit 23 runs in 34 balls and was caught by Kashyap Prajapati off Fayaaz Butt and Aarif Sheikh, who came in at number five, put 29 runs on the board.
For Nepal, number six batsman Kushal Malla scored his debut century and held the Nepali innings together. Malla scored an impressive 108 runs in 64 balls. He was caught by Ayaan Khan off Aqip Ilyas’ delivery in 40.4 overs.
Sompal Kami remained not out and put 63 runs on the board off 48 deliveries. Tailender Karan KC also held on until the final over of the innings scoring 29 runs off 15 deliveries.
