Singapore set 175 runs target against Hong Kong

Singapore have set a 175 runs target against Hong Kong in the opening match of the ACC Premier Cup 2023 being held at the Mulpani cricket ground on Tuesday.
Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Singapore put 174 runs on the board, losing all wickets in 42.1 overs.
Aritra Dutta smashed nine boundaries, top-scoring at 49 runs off 57 balls.
Aaryan Modi put up 21 runs off 58 balls on the scoreboard, while Kalimuthu Ramesh smashed two boundaries and a six managing an 11-ball 18.
Avi Dixit and Thilipan Omaiduri also scored 12 runs each off 26 and 17 balls respectively.
For Hong Kong, Ehsan Khan grabbed four wickets while Yasim Murtaza dismissed three Singaporean batters in their 10-over spell each.
Ayush Shukla, Aizaz Khan, and Mohammad Ghanzanfar also managed to grab a wicket a piece.
Nepal is facing Malaysia in a match being simultaneously held at the TU cricket ground in Kirtipur today.
The Premier Cup will work as a qualification pathway towards the Asia Cup 2023, to be held in Pakistan in September this year.
Nepal are pitted in Group ‘A’ alongside Oman, Qatar, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia. Group ‘B’ consists of the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Singapore and Bahrain.
The matches will be held at TU Cricket Ground and Mulpani Cricket Ground from April 18 to May 1.
