Asmee Shrestha was crowned the Miss Nepal 2016 in a gala grand finale of the national beauty pageant organised by Hidden Treasure at Hotel Annapurna in Kathmandu on Friday.

Shrestha was selected among 19 finalists in the 21^st edition of the national level beauty contest. She received the coveted pageant crown from Miss Nepal 2015 Evana Manandhar.

Roshani Khatri became the first runner-up and was crowned Miss Nepal Earth 2016 at the event.

Similarly, Barsha Lekhi was announced the second runner-up and crowned Miss Nepal International 2016.

Shrestha will represent Nepal in the Miss World 2016 while the first and second runners-up will represent the country in Miss Earth and Miss International 2016.
