Kantipur Television will air a new cooking competition show, ‘Chef Nepal’, in September. Actress Priyanka Karki and chefs Santosh Shah, Ganesh Bahadur Dhakal and Laxman Prasad Bhandari will serve as the judges in the programme.

The television channel and Dharma Pictures signed an agreement on Thursday to broadcast the programme. Shishir Pachhai, chief executive officer of the channel, and celebrated chef Shah—the Master Judge for the show—signed the agreement in an event held at the office of Kantipur Television, Tinkune.

The auditions for ‘Chef Nepal’ took place virtually. Hundred selected individuals will present their cooking skills to the judges from September 1 to 4. Dharmaraj Pandey, chairman and producer of Dharma Pictures, revealed that a final winner will be selected after several elimination rounds.
