The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that light snowfall is expected in some high-altitude areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces on Saturday.

While the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces will see partly cloudy conditions, the rest of the country will have mostly clear weather.

A weak influence of the westerly wind is currently affecting the country.

The division has also warned that foggy conditions in parts of the Tarai may impact daily life, health, and road and air transport, urging necessary precautions.
