Post Report
The government on Monday paid final tributes to the Gen-Z movement martyrs with full state honours at Pashupati Aryaghat.
Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal and Energy Minister Kulman Ghising draped the bodies with the national flag, symbolising official recognition of their sacrifice.

The funeral procession began at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj and passed through Chabahil and Gaushala before reaching Aryaghat. Along the route, mourners joined the cortege to pay their respects.
At Hansamandap, the Armed Police Force offered a ceremonial salute, marking a solemn military tribute to the martyrs.
The cabinet meeting held on Monday also declared September 17 as a national day of mourning to honour the victims.
The government has already announced financial support of Rs100,000 for each bereaved family to cover funeral expenses, along with an additional Rs1.5 million in compensation.
Officials said the move was part of a broader effort to honour those who lost their lives during the Gen-Z movement.
