Chinese President Xi Jinping has landed at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
Xi, who is on a two-state visit to Nepal, flew to Kathmandu earlier on Saturday afternoon from Chennai, India, after concluding the second informal summit with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During his 20-hour stay in Kathmandu, Xi will be meeting Nepali leaders, including President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, and sign around a dozen agreements.
President Bhandari welcomed her Chinese counterpart at the airport, where Prime Minister Oli was also present.
