A person injured in an improvised device explosion in front of Ncell Headquarters in Nakkhu, Lalitpur on Friday night has died, according to police.

Singha Prasad Gurung, 49, of Lamjung, was rushed to Nepal Mediciti hospital for treatment after falling injured in the bomb blast. He succumbed to his injuries on Friday night, confirmed Uttam Raj Subedi, spokesperson for Nepal Police.

Other two injured in the incident Urusha Manandhar, 25, from Kavre and Pratiksha Khadka, 26, from Baghdol are receiving treatment at Mediciti and Alka Hospital respectively. Manandhar works in the Mediciti hospital as a staff nurse.

According to Subedi, the situation of other two injured is normal.

At least three people were reported injured after an improvised device exploded in Nakku, Lalitpur, on Friday.
