Newly appointed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that a historic opportunity to achieve the gold of building a prosperous and happy Nepal has started.

Addressing a programme organised in Tundikhel on the occasion of 68th Democracy Day on Monday, he said that the era has begun to materialise people's long cherished dream of witnessing development, political stability and prosperity in the nation.

Saying that the country has entered into the phase of government formation after the conclusion of three-tier of election, he said that the government will work under its jurisdiction by adhering to the standards set by the government.

“Respect to sovereignty, national unity, people’s security, institutionalise rule of law, good governance, stability, development and prosperity will be the government's future guide line,” PM Oli said.

Highlighting that the country has reached this stage by overcoming various obstacles, PM Oli, who is also the Chairman of CPN-UML, said, “A mega campaign has been started to bring happiness in the face of Nepali people by fulfilling their desires.”

He appealed all the political parties and general public to join hands together for the development of the country.

“Time has come to transform the people's long cherished dreams,” Oli said, adding, “He appealed all to be united to take the country towards the path of prosperity by mobilising resources.”
