Bhaktapur
Police Chief at the Range Superintendent Bikash Shrestha said anyone found involved in the misdeeds would be brought to book. Police persons in plain clothes have been mobilised for this, he added.
He urged all not to foment anomalies in the name of celebrating festival.
Smearing colour, powders, throwing lolas and forceful pouring of water on the people would lead to discord and injuries.
If the public offence case is filed, one is jailed for two years, according to the police.
