Fire damages home and garage in Bardiya

Bardiya
An electrical short circuit sparked a fire on Friday, damaging a home and garage in ward 6 of Gulariya Municipality, Bardiya district.
The fire reportedly began at the garage, affecting the property of Buddhi Chauhan, a resident of ward 7, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Rishiram Gharti Magar, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Bardiya.
The blaze partially damaged the garage. With assistance from the police, fire brigade, and locals, the fire was brought under control. Authorities are assessing the extent of the damage.
