Provincial Head Yadav Chandra Sharma administered the oath of office to Chief Minister Lama and nine ministers at a function at the Office of the Province Head.
Six ministers from the CPN-UML and three from the Nepali Congress took the oath of office and secrecy.
From UML, Prakash Shrestha has been assigned to the ministry of agriculture and livestock; Kiran Thapa the ministry of health; Krishna Silwal the ministry of forest and environment; Suk Maya Tamang the ministry of industry, commerce, land and administration; Aman Maskey the ministry of physical infrastructure development; and Prem Bhakta Maharjan the ministry of labour, employment, and transport.

As per the power-sharing agreement between the UML and the Congress, the Congress will get seven ministerial berths, including the chief minister. However, the party failed to finalise the names of three other ministers due to an internal dispute.
Province Head Sharma appointed Lama to the position on Tuesday evening after he staked a claim for the chief ministerial position before the province head with the signatures of 64 lawmakers.
