Man dies in fire at cattle shed in Solukhumbu
Preliminary probe suggests cigarette caused the blazebookmark

A man was killed in a fire at a cattle shed in ward 2 of Solududhkunda Municipality in Solukhumbu district on Wednesday.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Navaraj Rai from ward 1 of Mapya Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality.
The fire broke out on Wednesday night in a shed belonging to local Bal Bahadur Newar.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Dwarika Prasad Ghimire said preliminary investigations suggest the fire started when Rai accidentally set the shed ablaze while smoking a cigarette.
A team comprising Chief District Officer Anoj Kumar Ghimire, DSP Ghimire, and medical personnel visited the site on Thursday morning for further investigation.
