Four Nepali workers were murdered in Meghalaya, the northeast state of India.
According to Northeast Live TV, four bodies with their throats slit were recovered in a remote village in Jaintia Hill district on Saturday.
It is learnt that the deceased were Nepali labourers working in a local coal mine.
Indian security agencies said detailed investigation was underway into the case.
