All doctors at the hospital, including the medical superintendent, have left the district after they were recalled by Nepal Medical Association (NMA).
The agitating doctors have demanded the government to ensure their safety at workplace.
Health care services have been greatly affected because of the strike, said Satish Bista, chief of the District Health Office.
Patients are compelled to visit Dadeldhura and other districts for medical care.
Chief District Officer Surya Bahadur Khatri said police have arrested four persons on charge of assaulting Dr Singh on February 18.
Assuring to bring the guilty to the book, he has urged the doctors to return to their work.
