Speaking at an interaction on 'Implementation of Constitution and Accountability' organised by the High-Level Administration Reforms and Monitoring Committee here Wednesday, Chief Justice Karki suggested all the political parties to forge an agreement for the country, people and their prosperity. "As the constitution is for peace, security and development, conflicts and differences should be put to an end," she said.
The Chief Justice also said that the road map of restructuring of the Judiciary has been moving ahead considering the people's interest as well as the geographical complexity.
CPN-UML Parliamentary Party Deputy Leader Subas Nembang said the tendency of unanimity in principle but standing in opposite direction in practice has been creating obstruction to implementation of the constitution. "Implementation of the Constitution is the first condition of the present, and all need to come together for it," he said.
NC leader Narayan Prakash Saud said the country has fallen into a strategic puzzle as a result of discussions taking place against the spirit and need of the local constituents.
Chief Election Commissioner Dr Ayodhi Prasad Yadav complained over the lack of legislations necessary to hold the three tier elections.
Chief Secretary Dr Som Lal Subedi said the tendency to look for personal interest in the restructuring process has obstructed obstacles to implementation of federalism.
Chair of High-level Administrative Reforms Recommendation and Implementation Committee Kashi Raj Dahal said the political parties need to be united to consolidate nationality and hold elections so as to end the transition. RSS
