Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has slashed the prices of petroleum products on Monday, informed NOC spokesperson Mukunda Ghimire.

The national oil monopoly decided to cut Rs 5 per litre in petrol and Rs 6 per litre in diesel and kerosene with effect from Monday mid-night.

As per the new revised rate, petrol will now cost Rs 99 per litre, and diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 75 per litre. 

Ghimire said the price has been adjusted due to decrease of fuel prices in international market.
