NOC distributing fuel through institutional pumps

The NOC has been distributing diesel from 76 pumps in and around Kathmandu Valley.
Likewise, 13 pumps have been handed over the responsibility to distribute petrol.
Security agencies—Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force, NOC and Sajha pumps have been distributing petrol inside Kathmandu valley, whereas private pumps in Banepa and Nuwakot are doing so.
The state owned oil monopoly is running out of its stock fuel following the ‘unofficial blockade’ of essential supplies by India.
NOC is distributing 103,000 litres petrol today, while 236,000 litres of diesel have arrived in its depots.
