Around 300 leaders and cadres from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party have joined the United Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Nationalist).
Among the new entrants are ex-chairperson of RPP Kathmandu Chapter Udaya Jung Rana, Ujjwal Pokharel and Saru Bastola.
At a programme held in the Capital on Sunday, United RPP (Nationalist) Chairman Prakash Chandra Lohani stressed the need of unity among the forces with nationalist character while asserting that monarchy could be a symbol of national unity.
The prevalence of political share is nurturing corruption and conflict in the country, Lohani added.
