Speaker Onasari Gharti has lifted the suspension of CPN (Maoist Centre) lawmaker Lharkyal Lama.

She informed the Parliament on Friday that the decision was taken after he was acquitted by the Special Court of corruption charges.

Legislature Parliament had suspended Lama after he was arrested for keeping a weapon in a bank locker. A case was filed against him at the Special Court. Lama got a clean chit on Tuesday in a case of illegal amassing of property. He was released in the weapons case following an investigation earlier.
