Surkhet
Dengue downed at least 13 people in Surkhet in past one month, the District Public Health Office (DPHO) said.
Health officials said majority of the patients were from Birendranagar. Udaya BC, the vector control supervisor of the DPHO, said that the disease is still spreading. Meanwhile, the district is running out of dengue testing kits. The DPHO has requested the centre to provide 200 dengue testing kits.
Dengue patients have also been found in Bardiya, with at least three dozen cases reported in last two weeks.
