Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha, an alliance of Tarai-based political parties, held a meeting in Capital on Saturday morning. The meeting decided to form a secretariat of the Morcha.

The meeting also decided to submit a memorandum to Prime Minister KP Oli seeking government put stop to arrests of Madhesi people by police, annul the charges filed against protesters arrested during Madhes agitation and cancel bank loans and tax during the period.

The SLMM meeting also demanded that judiciary and such other government bodies should be made inclusive.

TMLP Chairman Mahanta Thakur, SSFN Chair Upendra Yadav, among other leaders of SLMM were present at the meeting.
