"He walked out from the hospital at 10:45 am this morning. He was admitted to the hospital on July 26 (Sunday) for Planned ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator) implantation," read a statement issued by the hospital.
He was admitted at the hospital after he complained of sudden irregular heartbeats.
Doctors implanted an ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator) or self shocking machine in the heart of former Crown Prince Paras Shah on Sunday evening itself. Shah, 43, stayed at the Hospital after the surgery to implant the device.
All the parameters of ICD that was implanted on him on July 26 itself were found to be in satisfactory and desirable range, the hospital said.
The doctors attending on Shah will see him in follow-ups after two day.
A team led by Dr Bharat Rawat and Dr Sujeev Raj Bhandari successfully placed the battery-powered device in Shah's chest. The small device helps to regulate the heartbeat.
In February, 2013, Shah had suffered a major heart attack and was admitted at the Bangkok-based Samitivej Hospital for a month.
In 2007 too Shah had undergone an emergency angioplasty at the Norvic Hospital.
Shah had recently returned to Nepal from Bangkok.
