A special squad form Metropolitan Police Range apprehended him from Khasi Baazar near Chakrapath.

Issuing a press statement, the police claimed that Poudel was nabbed while he was walking road side at around 8am. Poudel, who hails from Ramechhap, has been involved in numerous criminal activities for a decade reportedly under political patronage.

He was held in possession of 28.4 grams brown sugar and a home-made pistol with a loaded bullet.
