A 30-year-old man was killed in Lalitpur following a dispute.
According to Lalitpur District Police Range, Suman Rasaili, 25, originally from Ramechhap and residing in ward 4 of Mahalaxmi Municipality, killed Ripak Khati with a khukuri (a type of traditional knife with a curved blade) following a dispute over teasing his sister.
The attack took place near a Shiva temple in Ochu Height on Wednesday night after Rasaili called Khati to meet before launching the assault.
Police have taken Rasaili into custody.
