Nine injured in Humla jeep accident

Nine people were injured when a jeep met with an accident in Simkot in the remote Humla district on Sunday.
According to Deputy Superintended of Police Bhim Lal Bhattarai, the jeep heading to Badgaun from Simkot, the district headquarters, veered off the road and fell some 60 metres down near Mansarovar Secondary School in Simkot Rural Municipality causing the casualties.
It is said that local representatives including chiefs of wards 2 and 3 were heading to Badgaun to attend a function.
Details of the incident are awaited.
