Nepal reports two Covid-related deaths, 171 new cases

Nepal on Tuesday reported two Covid-related deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the countrywide death toll to 12,025 since the pandemic began three years ago.
According to the Health Ministry, the country reported 105 new PCR-confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 1,002,346.
Similarly, 66 people tested positive in a total of 1,312 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Tuesday, 6,028,151 PCR and 1,559,865 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 980 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
According to the ministry, 989,924 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 85 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 397.
