Nepal reports 22 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Thursday reported 12 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 979,235.
Similarly, 10 people tested positive in a total of 1,098 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Thursday, 5,723,300 PCR and 1,205,511 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,655 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 967,171 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; nine of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 112.
In the past 24 hours, four infections were reported in Bagmati, two each in Sudurpaschim and Province 1 and one each in Madhes and Gandaki.
Nepal on Wednesday reported 10 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, seven new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Tuesday and seven new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Monday.
