Nepal reports nine new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Tuesday reported eight new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 979,140.
Similarly, one person tested positive in a total of 962 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Tuesday, 5,703,008 PCR and 1,195,517 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,085 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 967,078 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 13 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 102.
In the past 24 hours, two infections were reported in Madhes, five in Bagmati and one in Lumbini.
Nepal on Monday reported five new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, nine new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Sunday and five new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Saturday.
