Nepal reports 12 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Friday reported eight new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 979,113.
Similarly, four people tested positive in a total of 1,149 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Friday, 5,695,885 PCR and 1,191,857 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,238 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 967,037 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 13 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 124.
In the past 24 hours, seven infections were reported in Bagmati and one in Lumbini.
Nepal on Thursday reported 14 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, four new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Wednesday and 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Tuesday.
