Nepal reports 11 new Covid-19 cases

Nepal on Saturday reported 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 979,051.
All 1,211 antigen tests returned negative results, according to the Health Ministry’s daily situation report.
As of Saturday, 5,683,806 PCR and 1,186,290 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 1,819 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,952 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 966,962 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; eight of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 148.
In the past 24 hours, five new infections were reported in Bagmati, two in Province 1, one in Madhes and three in Karnali.
Nepal on Friday reported 11 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases. Similarly, 12 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded on Thursday and six new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases were reported on Wednesday.
